About the Artwork:

Using fragments from fashion, architecture, and design magazines, I try to discover new compositions that evoke a mood and play with notions of interior and exterior spaces. I also enjoy playing with color, line, and shape in ways that seem both representational but also abstract. In the end, I hope looking at my piece feels similar to listening to classical music.

About the Artist: 

Loren Brown is originally from Utah but now lives in rural Eastern Washington, working as a psychologist and creating art in his spare time. For the past several years he has primarily worked in collage, but also enjoys painting, drawing, and printmaking.
